Diana Waring's History Manuals
We used the Diana Waring Study Guides with our oldest three children, over four years. I loved them from the first day, and the children got a great deal out of the course. For older children , use the older guides, while using the Activity books with younger children at the same time. The beauty of this curriculum is that it caters to all four main learning styles, There are many approaches to teaching each topic, so all the children will benefit from that at one time or another. This is a strongly Bible-based course.
Our suggestion is to get the appropriate study guide for your children, and if they are over 11 yrs, get the CDs that match that SG, then look at the literature packs (below) and choose a selection of books to read along with the topics, or else get the whole pack at a discount. This will give you a rich curriculum for a year.
