These Teacher's Portfolios are wonderful resources.  Laid out the same as the original History Portfolios, these ones are all filled in with line drawings to colour, maps, mazes, word searches, narration suggestions (a few given for each writing gap) nice culturally fitting borders, clear lap book instructions, flap up ideas and more.  Of course you don't have to use them all just as suggested, but the pictures and ideas are so good you will find it is easy producing something interesting for your child to do to fit into a history portfolio gap on any given day.  Just photocopy or cut out the pictures.  There is such a variety of easy, effective-looking things to do that the portfolio becomes a source of pride for your children, and every gap will be filled.
