Literature and Poetry Appreciation
Literature Appreciation
What does Literature Appreciation have to do with Language Arts - the mechanics of learning to communicate with language? A lot. It is a different piece in the jigsaw. Just as an artist looks at other paintings for inspiration, so a writer studies other people’s writing, and both unconsciously and purposefully, builds up a rich store of ideas and writing styles for future use. Since literature is about stories, there is also a lot of pleasure to be obtained from studying different books, and much to be learned from the observations of others. Below you will find study guides and other titles to help you better appreciate great literature.
