Honey for  a Teen's Heart - by Gladys Hunt & Barbara Hampton   $20.95

In the same unique style as Honey for a Child's Heart, this books recommends wholesome and thoughtful books for teens by genre.  The authors are Christians, but do not restrict their choices to 'fluffy' books with only good people in them.  They encourage the reading of books that make you think, and teach the teen how to be a cook critic - discerning the world view of a book and seeing the weaknesses. Every books recommended has a one paragraph summary, followed by an outline of what is the message of this book.  From this you can decide if the subject matter is of interest.  These books are not out of print ones.   This is a great help for parents having trouble finding their teens meaningful books.  Most are readily available either in libraries or on order from HSF.
