I personally got excited about this curriculum - at first - the black line drawings are so clear and the whole course is drawing related, as opposed to text related - great for non-science types like me.  However my two children who were being given this course to occupy them when I had a new baby got speedily sick and tired of cutting out spirals to make books about planets...they preferred reading an interesting book about planets and not cutting out fiddly things that really taught nothing about planets.   However  I can see some use for it for short periods, or for children who like this sort of thing.  The animal case studies and anatomy parts I found very good.
